Monthly Favorites

It shocks me to think how close we are to the end of the year 2015. It feels like I've just blinked and its now almost the end of the year. Today's blog update is about my October favorites. I have been loving a lot of movies last month so don't be shocked if almost all of my faves are televisions shows and movies.


FAVE, BOOK- Girl Online by Zoe Sugg a.k.a Zoella. To be honest when I first saw it it was in paperback, but I was completely in love with it. I love the story, the concept, and I also idolize the writer, Zoella is very talented and not to mention very gorgeous.

FAVE. FOOD- Belgian waffles. They're my baes. Especially when they're filled with, chocolate alone or nutella with bananas. They're like heaven, so if you haven't tried one yet then..go get yourself some.

FAVE. CLOTHING- Shorts, Leggings and Flannels. Here in the Philippines it's not very cold and not too hot either. It's just average, so shorts and leggings are very appropriate. I also love wearing flannels because, they're very comfy yet really stylish at the same time. You can do a lot of outfits by just a shirt and flannels and shorts and leggings.

FAVE. MOVIES- As I said, I have a lot of movie favorites last month.

Sidney White- this is your modern Snow White. It's about a girl going to college an joining a sorority her Mom used to be part of, but gets upset because she didn't get accepted and goes through a rough time. Haha! I found it on Youtube, you can search it up if you want to.

Open Road- It's about a girl I think she was from South America, and she came to America to look for her father but ends up falling in love.

Bratz- it's about four best friends and, you know, I think you've watched it already no need for me to explain.

Flipped- a love story where the girl is in love with a boy but the boy hates her but as time goes by the boy ends up falling for the girl and the girl ends up hating the boy, but eventually in the end the both end up liking each other. Btw, Bryce is hot!

Monte Carlo- I'm a huge fan of Selena so, I wanted to watch some of her movies and my mind immediately said Monte Carlo.

FAVE. THING TO DO WHEN BORED- well it was our semestral break last month so I have a lot of free time to myself, so when I get bored of the things I did, I'll try and update my blog or write another chapter on this story I'm currently working on.

FAVE. MUSIC- This month I have been loving Christmas songs. I know it's Halloween but I'm never one to celebrate Halloween. No offense. I've listened to classic and modern Christmas songs on spotify and I'll try and link it below. Specifically, I've been loving, Winter Wonderland, White Christmas, Baby it's cold outside and Santa Baby.

Those are all my favor ties this month.

Confidence

CONFIDENCE comes in different ways.

Yung ibang tao na kayang humarap sa marami para magpasaya, hindi lang sila ang makakagawa non. Pati din ikaw, maging confident ang sa mga galaw.

GREETINGS EVERYBODY!

We totally can't deny that confidence is like a disease to us teens. We're mostly too shy because of bullying experience or because we know our crushes are around and we don't want to embarrass ourselves. But, tell me, how many times did you sacrifice something or turn down an opportunity because your shy? For me, tons. But now I'm ow ready to take on the world and be confident with my own skin. 

Being the shy type is never really the good way to go. Good things will never happen to you if you were that kid that just sits on the corner and laughs and just blend in afraid to step out because your shy. 

Don't even try and deny that you secretly have a dream to be an actress, to be a famous superstar. Diba? Gusto mo maging artista, maging kilala. Wag mo nang i-deny, ako rin. If you denied it then, girl, you have the terrible case of shyness. 

Some people find confidence in their weight or their body shape, their height, their figure, the way they look, the way they talk, their posture and their smile. How do you find the confidence in you?

HOW DO I EVEN FIND THE CONFIDENCE IN ME?

Well, first, never loose hope that you can do this and can do that, basically never loose hope that you can do things without depending on others. 

To find that confidence buried inside of you, you have to:

1. Be comfortable in your own skin, trying or impersonating to be someone you really not just shows how assuming you and hard you can be. Which shows uncomfortable actions that makes audiences think you were threatened or forced to be where you are. 

2. Try out new things, you might be that kind of person that's been stuck to only one hobby ever since. Well, it's time for you take a step and try something new. Who knows maybe it can be life changing.

3. Step out of your comfort zone, stepping out of your comfort zone can be a really big step for you. Like, if you just want to be with your group of friends in a performance but you are put into a group with people you were never close with. Step out of your comfort zone, try new things and be comfortable with your own skin. Make new friends, perform well, be free, be happy, be confident.

THE ULTIMATE HALLOWEEN STORY 👻

Magiging honest po ako hindi po ako talaga fan ng Halloween. I was not and still am not a fan of Halloween. Sure, I'm a fan of dressing up, because I'm a girl, but I just don't like those shows that scare me or horror movies po. Hindi po talaga. In my life, and I tell you this honestly, konti lang yung mga horror movies na nakita ko. I can easily be scared. Major matatakutin talaga ako. Nakakahiya man aminin pero totoo.

As I said, I am that kind of person na never pumunta sa mga Halloween Gala or kahit ano kasi very matatakutin ako. Walang may nakaka alam kung bakit, my family thinks I'm over reacting pero, honestly, umiiba yung pakiramdam ko pag manonood ng mga something creepy. 


Pero sa tingin ko, its my wild imagination. I have a really wide imagination and sometimes I like it.  Kasi pag malapad imagination mo marami kang magawang istorya na makaka pag pasaya sayo. Pero who knew matatakot ka din pala. 


You can't believe it diba? There is one person din pala na matatakot pag Halloween na, at ako yun. That's my Ultimate Halloween Story.

Quick and Easy Fall Decor | Cessielle

Greetings and Welcome to FALL!

Aside from the autumn candles Bath and body works, the cozy throw pillows and blankets and the really cozy and comfy, and warm flannels we also need some room decors to get us in the fall-y vibe right?

As we all probably know, Fall or Autumn is the time of the year were we all can be cozy and be snuggled up next to someone or that very HUGE teddy. Either way, a little room decor wouldn't hurt. Here are some quick and easy DIY's I gathered for you guys. ENJOY! 

1. DIY Jack-O-Lantern Plates 

Materials:

Glass, Paper or woven plates

Black Felt

Glue

Unfortunately my phone crashed and I can't get the picture from my phone but I'll try and expalin to you what you'll do. 

In this diy you guys can either use glass, plastic or those woven plates. 

Then you can spray paint it orange or any color that makes you think of fall when you see it. 

Then take some black fabric or felt and cut up three triangles for the eyes and the nose, and for the teeth you can imagine what a Jack-O-lantern teeth would look like right? And then take some green felt and cut a stem for your pumpkin plate, and glue them on. Be sure to use a strong hold glue so that your Lantern plate would last long. 

Of course I wouldn't use this when I eat, but this will be a good storage place for your make up, jewelries, make up, perfumes, lotions etc. 

2. Cozy Glow; Burlap wrapped candle

Materials: 

Candles (any kind any brand)

Burlap

Ribbon/Fabric (Optional)

This is really optional. You can either use plain white non-special candles or you can use some of your Bath and body works or Yankee candle, candles. It's totally up to you guys, so all you have to do is get yourself some burlap, measure it around your candle and glue it down. For an added touch you guys can tie around it a fabric resembling a flannel or just an orange ribbon. 

3. Candy Corn Mason Jars.

When I think of fall treats, the first thing that comes into my mind is Candy Corn. What better way to show your love to snacking with this Candy corn Mason Jar that you can either use as a vase or a jar for your candy corn or really just anything in general.

Materials:

Mason Jar

Spray Paints ( yellow, orange and any color that you prefer as a background thingy)

Candy Corn or Flowers (optional)

So this first part is optional, but you can spray paint your mason jar any color you prefer before the actual candy corn color for a much more colorful jar. But I think keeping the mason jar clear will look really cool to. 

After that optional first step, you can get ready to spray paint you jar yellow. But first make sure to cover up your surface area, we don't want candy corn colored floors. 

From a distance start spray painting you mason jar yellow, be careful not to paint the upper portion. To get that ombre look you can try and drag up the paint as you go, only just a little bit. Once your done and your satisfied of the color and opaqueness of the color, you can move on to the next color which is orange and start doing the same thing as you did with the first color. Let it dry for a few hours, I suggest 3-4 hours before using it. Once its done drying you can store you snacks or some autumnal themed flowers. 

4. Autumn Throw Pillow

   Loves let us all chill. You might think, Girl this involves sewing, sewing isn't easy. Well, calm down babe. I'm here to make it easy for you. 

Materials:

Fabric/ Felt ( in orange, brown, white,green etc)

Plain white throw pillow (or you can make your own)

E6000 glue 

You can free hand cut the leaves or Google a cut out, I'll leave on after this. You can cut up a lot, depends on your liking. 

After cutting the leaves up from your colorful felt, you can arrange them on your throw pillow. Once you've got your desired design grab that E6000 glue and start gluing the leaves on. As you can see in the picture she arranged her leaves in a wreath form, but the design is really up to you. Let your imagination run wild.




5. Fall Themed burlap Wreath

Nothing is so much more fall looking than this.

Materials:
Burlap and any fabric of your choice
A little hoop or a wreath thingy
Mini fall pumpkin decoration

Start by gluing the burlap on the upper edge of the wreath and of you want to get this ruffled look pinch one or two fabrics and glue them down together. Once your finished secure that burlap with a but load of glue. Then start gluing the next fabric of you choice. This diy is up to you guys, the designs and the fabric is your decision.

Once you done gluing every single fabric. You can start gluing some mini fall pumpkin decor you want all around your wreath. Just a quick note, don't let any of the foam wreath show make sure there are NO GAPS for a much more eye catching, Instagram worthy wreath.

DISCLAIMER: Hindi ko na po ipagpapatuloy yung mga series ko dito sa blog nato. Sometimes it's so hard to write about something when you have a topic to follow, kasi you have to stick to the idea of the whole thing. This past week nahirapan po talaga ako then nagka sakit pa po ako. I know that having series' on my blog can organize stuff, and this is purely my idea, but I just wanted to inform you guys. 







Perfect-ness is and was never measured through money, beauty and appearance. It's in one's traits, the outside exterior of a person is never that perfect when she is maldita, matapobre, and mapang abuso. In short, no matter how much money you have, how many people kiss your feet because your that pretty if your capability to care and love others is not as pretty and glam as you make out to be, wala rin yong halaga. 





Take a witch as an example (witch: kasi Halloween ngayon.) witches have power and strength to wipe out someone if their in the mood to do so, they're even really pretty (at  the start) , but no matter how pretty  they are, when their ugali is bad, there will come a time that they will be ugly. There will come a time na ang mga power nila mawawala na. And all of these because of their wrong doings. Nag fire back lang talaga ang karma. 





See, not all people that are rich and famous and pretty can be perfect. Even someone at the street can be perfect, even though they don't have a house to shelter them during the cold, even though they're really dirty and stinky, even though they're hungry, but they always help out someone in need. Kahit alam nila na walang wala na sila, tutulong parin sa iba. Yun, yung ang mga taong sa tingin ko na perpekto, yung gagawin parin kahit alam nila na wala na ring may matitira sa kanila, yung mga taong yun perpekto yung mga yun. 





Ako hindi ko sini-secreto sa ibang tao na lumaki ako sa pamilyang may kaya, sa pamilyang tinuturing akong prinsesa, pero ni minsan hindi ako nag dalwang isip na hindi tumulong sa iba. Minsan alam ko na wala na akong may maibigay pero go lang. Babalik sa'yo ang mga pinang gagawa mo, sana good things yung mga yon hindi ko sinasabi na ako ay perpekto, nag bibigay example lang po ako.




Kahit anumang sala ang nagawa mo, kung mabuti ang kalooban mo na tumulong sa ibang tao. You sir are already perfect.
